About our products
We manufacturing special shaped precison cold drawn rod and wire in ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. Manufacturing near net shapes by cold drawing is a process that is applicable to many industries.
Current customer base is throughout the United States as well as several international customers. Some of the end users of our product include Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Caterpillar, GM, John Deere, Sturm Ruger, and many others.
Often customers label our product as "extruded bar stock" which is the general idea. Our cold draw process involves pulling round brass or low carbon steel rod through a series of progressive draw dies to achieve a desired cross sectional shape with very close tolerances(.0005). Finished product is primarily sold to machine shops for further operations.
Our cold draw process is a superior alternative to extrusions for the following reasons:

The family owned business was started in 1930 and is currently owned/operated by the fourth generation. Our product is used in almost every industry from firearms and heavy machinery to musical instruments and medical applications. The largest concentration of our customer base is in the mid-west but we have customer across the country. Looking for a sales rep who knows the machine shop industry, as this is our primary customers. Our product is used in machine shops that use everything from multi spindle screw machines, swiss, davenport, to hydromat and everything in between. The company is a certified Veteran Owned Small Business and can work with companies dealing in federal contracts.
