Past MANA Board member John Sandifer has suggested that MANA’s CEO come out to meet with Texas MANA members to talk about what’s new at MANA. Which is a great idea, so we’ve set the date for Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Dunston’s Steak House, 8526 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas, TX, (214) 637-3513, www.dunstonssteakhouse.com.
And to encourage conversation instead of presentation, we’ve designated this event as a PowerPoint-free zone.
Cost: Your own lunch check.
Noon-12:30 p.m.: Networking
12:30-1:15 p.m.: Lunch
1:15-2:00 p.m.: What’s new with MANA and how to use your MANA-member resources on topics like:
- Creating Business Plans
- Selecting the Right Principals and Representatives
- Negotiating Agreements That Work for Both Representatives and Principals
- Representatives and Principals Working Together as Trusted Partners in Profits
- Analyzing Your Lines for Profitability
- Representative and Principal Communication
- Planning for Your Succession and Selling Your Firm
Did we miss a topic that’s important to you? Let us know and we’ll either cover it at the meeting or get the information to you offline.
Let us know you’re coming! We want to be sure to have enough seating for everyone who plans to come, and we also want to be sure we have a way to contact you just in case. So when you’ve put this on your calendar, please e-mail Susan Strouse firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know that we’ll see you February 4.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Note to MANA members who are also NEMRA members: This lunch meeting overlaps with the NEMRA conference. If you are attending the NEMRA conference, let me know and we’ll make other arrangements to catch you up that won’t interfere with your giving your full attention to the NEMRA conference.
