The Internationally United Commercial Agents and Brokers (IUCAB) is a Europe-based umbrella association of 20 manufacturers’ representative associations. MANA is one of those 20 associations.
In Europe, manufacturers’ agents are called “commercial agents” and each year IUCAB chooses an exceptional representative firm to receive IUCAB’s “George Hayward Award.” The 2018 recipient, Peter Feigl Handelsagentur of Linz, Austria, was featured in the August 2018 issue of Agency Sales magazine.
Eligibility requirements for a MANA-member representative firm to apply for this award are:
- MANA member since at least May 31, 2016.
- In business as a representative firm since at least May 31, 2014.
- Financially sound.
Application forms are available by email from MANA Secretary/Treasurer Susan Strouse at sstrouse@manaonline.org.
Completed application forms must be returned to Susan by January 31, 2019 to be considered.
The winner of the 2019 “George Hayward Award” will be announced in Valencia, Spain, at the IUCAB Annual Delegates Meeting on May 31, 2019. Attendance at the meeting is not required to be considered.
