For our next MANAchat, we selected the following topic:
Dealing With Supply Issues and Price inflation
MANAchats provide a venue where members meet and exchange knowledge and information with each other on best practices they use to improve how they operate their businesses.
We hear from our members that the increase in the inflation and supply issues rate impacts the manufacturer-manufacturers’ representative relationship. If the price the manufacturer charges goes up, so does the commission the manufacturers’ representative receives. On the other hand, if there is a supply issue, the amount of goods that can be sold goes down, along with the manufacturers’ representative’s compensation. What can the two do to come up with an equitable solution to this issue. Hopefully, these MANAchats will create an answer.
